Page 15, lines 3-8:                                                            
	Delete all material.                                                          
	Insert "(f)  A person applying for state public assistance under this         
chapter in a region of the state covered by both a regional public             
assistance program and the department, may obtain state public                 
assistance from the organization designated by the department to serve         
the region or from the department."                                            
                                                                               
Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that                  
Amendment No. 1 be adopted.                                                    
                                                                               
Representative Morgan objected.

placed on final passage.                                                       
                                                                               
Objection was heard.

April 8, 2000, calendar.
